Can absolutely recommend the inn. Very good food. Friendly service. My best recommendation.

One of the good restaurants in Triberg as there are hardly any good places to eat. It doesn't stand out and looks like a normal German pub, but you won't be disappointed. The prices are great and you get full. I had the spinach dumplings with tomato sauce. The tomato sauce tasted good, fresh and like tomatoes and not barilla. The portions are appropriate and the dishes are nicely presented. The waiter was stressed because he served alone, but he was always friendly and didn't show anything. He really tried. I wonder why the one burly guy at the bar who just peeked couldn't give the poor man a helping hand. Well Really good restaurant where you can still eat well. I can only recommend. French fries were crispy and tasty👍 point deduction because of the slightly dirty windows that were full of smeary fingerprints.

We dined very well with children. Staff was friendly, courteous and quick. The food was fresh and yet prepared quickly. Tip-too!

Rustic restaurant with specialties from the region (Verheierte = spaetzle with fried potatoes). We thought it was good, it tasted like my mother-in-law's. Gladly again

We went to the restaurant at 7:30 p.m. and the waitress came 15-20 minutes later and asked what we wanted to drink ...., we had enough time to see what we would like to eat, it took 10 minutes until the drinks came, that Food came 1 hour later, we weren't the only ones waiting for food, our dishes didn't take longer than 15 minutes, so never again, wanted to leave, because if the food doesn't come after 30 minutes you can just go and we were Not even pointed out that it takes longer, and what's more, there was almost nothing going on in the restaurant! 😡

The food was good and the prices are very reasonable considering how touristy the area is. The Spanish translation on the menu is a disaster and the service a bit slow.

Rustic restaurant, cozy, nice service, dogs allowed. Sufficiently sized portions. Typical Black Forest dishes - very tasty. I can only recommend Maultäschle. Likewise the Schwabenteller😋. Parking spaces in front of the house.

Top food with fresh ingredients; brisk and nice service. The portions are large and plentiful; the draft beer is perfect. Unfortunately, there are deductions for the evening opening times; Food only until 9 p.m., restaurant only until 10 p.m. In addition, no card payment is possible, only cash payment.

Schnapps, beer and waiters are great. The food was delicious, plentiful and affordable.

Stopped into this place for a fantastic lunch and the waitress was the best I had on 2 weeks of travel in Switzerland and Germany. Food was excellent so if you are in town, stop by for a great meal. The Riesling was excellent and I only drink red wine so it was a nice surprise.

We got in to get a beer at the bar and the waitress was really rude and told us that they don’t serve at the bar

We just went into this restaurant and were hot and thirsty. My mom put her bottled iced tea on the table (not even sat down yet), then the waitress came and said we couldn’t bring it here (She didn’t drink nor open it!) Then my dad came in with his own bottled water in his backpack. The waitress saw it and came immediately again saying the same thing... Cannot even have a bottled water in our own backpack??Really bad service and terrible impression. We decided not to eat here in the end. Very unpleasant experience. There are other good restaurants in Triberg. You don’t have to suffer the unreasonable service in this restaurant!

We were looking for a nice place for dinner. And we were not disappointed. Quaint ambience, a nice service and a very delicious food pleased us very much.

Just for travelers, not good

The food was very tasty, but the place was clearly under-staffed on Friday evening which caused quite a long wait. Would give it another try without a problem.

Great service, the waitress was kind. The dishes are quite big and the quality is great though the menu is kinda simple. The interior of the restaurant is cozy.

The food was okay and the portions are really big. It has outside seating which was really lovely in Spring. The waitress was friendly, but the service was really slow. The location is also convenient when you come by train It is around 20 min away from the main train station by foot.

Like other reviews noted, service is less than optimal. Food was good, and dish sizes was satisfactory as well.

Food was okay but the service was terrible. We couldn't even choose where to seat and waited for decades to order and get the food, and even waited for another decade to pay!

I already read in other comments that the waitress (I guess she is the owner) speaks Spanish. All a detail for the Spanish speakers who are always lost in these places. In addition, the letter is also in Spanish. The attention was very good, reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere, clean bathrooms and very good and forceful food. The only detail to take into account is that they do not accept card payments. But it is not much of a problem either as there is a bank in front of the restaurant. If we return to the black forest, we will consider this place.

Decent food at a fair price. Waitress got snappy with me when I tapped her the shoulder to get her attention, said I can't touch her white shirt.

Terrible service and rude waitress. If there is a zero star comment, I'll surely give one. We went there only because it was snowing and other nice restaurants were closed. Waited for almost 15 minutes to order and another 35 minutes only for some sausages and a fried pork steak. Not to mentioned the OVERCOOKED sausages and COLD fried patatos. Waitress became hostility if anything makes her unhappy. No politeness. Since when could a waitress throw anger everywhere and forbid customers to say a word?
